I've always loved false eyelashes. It's my favorite part of glam. I naturally have long, curly eyelashes, so it's the one thing makeup artists will say, "but you don't need them!" And they are right, I don't. Not on an everyday basis. But when I'm going to be on camera or even on a first date, they just make your eyes pop in a way that your regular lashes can't achieve (no matter what mascara you are using).
I also particularly love them being applied for me by a professional because I can't apply them myself. I know, I know. With my years of experience in the industry, how have I not mastered this craft? I have steady hands, but I just can't get the lashes to be close enough to my natural lashes so you don't see a gap and they are never applied the same on both eyes.
I've tried for years...and stopped...until I received these Magnetic Liner and Lashes from I-Envy (a Kiss brand) in the mail for National Lash Day (yes, that's a thing). I've tried magnetic lashes from another well-known lash brand and it was a disaster. So, when I saw these, I wasn't immediately excited.
Until I tried them.
And HONEY...when I tried them, I'm never going back. I'm a customer for life. These lashes, come with a magnetic eyeliner. I was skeptical.
The eyeliner is the blackest of black and something I would wear without the lashes. Magnetic eyeliner is not dangerous for your eyes and even if it accidentally gets in your eyes, magnets won't do any damage (but still quickly wash it out!). I actually prefer this liner over glue, because glue, if not applied correctly can pull out your natural lashes.
I'm wearing Wispy Style 01 which gave me just enough pop without me feeling like I was wearing an animal on my eye (I don't know how some of y'all do it!). I prefer lighter lashes because you don't want to weigh down your natural lashes. I also didn't even have to apply mascara to blend them together (something I normally have to do because of my curly lashes).
You can go to the I-Envy website to find a store near you that carries the brand or purchase at United Beauty Supply online. While this is available on Amazon a lot of the customers are saying the kit comes sans eyeliner. Nobody wants that!
If you try these, let me know. It's such a genius EYE-dea!
